If you have not heard of this system developed by Matrix, it is a hand-held system which uses two cameras in stereo to take simultaneous pictures of a vehicle from two different perspectives. The software Guidelight developed as part of the system then knits together the raw images to create a highly accurate three-dimensional model of the vehicle (3-D photogrammetry). The stereoscopic images and precise measurements delivered by the system can be used to instantly reveal hidden damages.
